Web Quests # 1-3 (Squids)
Squids live in all the oceans of the world. Squids are known as "the ice cream cone of the sea" because they are a favorite food of many ocean dwellers. Female squids lay thousands of eggs to support a food chain. Squids have some of the largest eyes, in proportion to their body, in the animal kingdom. Some squid body parts include fins, a mantle, tentacles, suckers, two hearts, gills and ink sacs. Complete the worksheets below to learn more about squids.
